Abstracts – SNN2025 Conference

We aim to make our event the largest Romanian conference of Neuroscience. Please submit your contribution(s) using the form below.

Abstract submission deadline: April 30^th, 2025 at 23:59 (GMT+2).

Your contribution(s) can only be considered after we receive your registration form and the corresponding payment. There is no additional fee for submitting one or multiple contributions.

The official languages of our conference are Romanian and English. If you prefer to have a presentation in Romanian language, please make sure that the supporting materials (slides, posters) are in English.

We provide the option to publish your abstract(s) in a special electronic issue of the journal “Physiology” (ISSN 1223-2076 Printed version, e-ISSN 2247-2061, ISSN-L 1223-2076). To ensure the timely processing for inclusion in the issue, we expect your abstracts before the deadline.

Due to the journal requirements, the abstracts should only be written in English. All contributions will be reviewed by the scientific committee and you will be contacted in case your abstract requires major editing or raises ethical concerns. The scheduling information will be displayed along with the final program.

If your abstract needs corrections prompted by yourself or us, please resubmit using this form. Only the most recent version prior to the deadline will be taken into consideration.

* Boards will be available to display printed posters in A0 portrait format (841 × 1189 mm).

** Poster presenters have the option to showcase their work in short 3-5 minute oral presentations (3-5 slides).

Important:

– We expect that the speakers will transfer and test their presentation on the provided projection computer, latest in the breaks preceding each oral symposium/session. If you need to use your own computer, please notify the session chairs.

– The duration of each oral presentation is limited to a maximum of 15 minutes (including discussions) unless otherwise agreed with the session chairs. We count on the session chairs to keep the total time allocated to their session.

– The poster boards can readily accommodate A0 prints in portrait format (841 width x 1189 height mm). If necessary, we will try to accommodate other sizes.

– According to your preferences, some posters will also be presented in the blitz session. Blitz presenters are expected to give a concise overview of their poster within 3-5 minutes. The order of the poster-walk will be decided by the session moderators.
