EBRAINS-Italy Brain Simulation Training Workshop – Brasov (Romania)

The school will introduce the students to the EBRAINS-Italy Research Infrastructure workflows for Computational Neuroscience, with the primary aim to extend access to this field and related tools to the average user from a variety of scientific communities. After the course, students will have a deeper understanding of the techniques and the scientific issues underlying the implementation of multiscale computational models or neurons and networks; students will also be able to use the Platform and access supercomputer systems to configure and run simulations and visualize/analyze the results.

The event is organized by the Institute of Biophysics of the National Research Council (CNR-IBF, Palermo, Italy) in collaboration with the Transylvania University (UT, Brasov Romania), the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CDUMP, Bucharest, Romania) and the National Neuroscience Society of Romania (SNN) as a joint meeting with the SNN2025 Conference (https://conf.snn.ro/snn2025/).

Workshop Chair: Michele Migliore, CNR-IBF;

Organizers: Michele Migliore (CNR-IBF), Carmen Alina Lupascu (CNR-IBF), Alessia Bonafede (CNR-IBF), Tudor Constantin Badea (UT), Ana-Maria Zagrean (CDUMP)
