We aim to make SNN2026 the major event of the Romanian neuroscience community. Please submit your contribution(s) using the form below.

Abstract submission deadline: May 19th, 2026 at 23:59 (GMT+2).

Your contribution(s) can only be considered after we receive your registration form and the corresponding payment. You can submit up to two abstracts with no additional fee (when registering two abstracts, please mention in the title of the second submission [Abstract 2]).

As SNN2026 Conference is a national conference with international participation, the official language of our conference is English. However, if you prefer to have a presentation in the Romanian language, please make sure that the supporting materials (slides, posters) are in English.

We provide the option to publish your abstract(s) in a special electronic issue of the journal “Fiziologia – Physiology” (ISSN 1223-2076 Printed version, e-ISSN 2247-2061, ISSN-L 1223-2076). Only the abstracts received before the deadline will be considered, and they should be written in English.

All contributions will be reviewed by the scientific committee and you will be contacted in case your abstract requires major editing or raises ethical concerns. The scheduling information will be displayed along with the final program.

If your abstract needs corrections prompted by yourself or us, please resubmit using this form. Only the most recent version prior to the deadline will be taken into consideration.

In case you want to be considered for an oral presentation, please contact the organizers no later than April 15th, 2026 at conf2026@snn.ro and please use the subject line [ORAL SUBMISSION REQUEST].

Registration closed.

Important:

– The poster boards can readily accommodate A0 prints in portrait format (841 width x 1189 height mm). If necessary, we will try to accommodate other sizes but please confirm with the organizers beforehand.

– Only undergraduate and junior participants can be considered for the Young Investigators Blitz presentations. Blitz presenters are expected to give a concise overview of their poster within 3-5 minutes.

– In case of oral presentations, we expect that the speakers will transfer and test their presentation on the provided projection computer, latest in the breaks preceding each oral session. If you need to use your own computer, please notify the session chairs.

– The duration of each oral presentation is limited to a maximum of 15 minutes (including discussions) unless otherwise agreed with the session chairs, except the keynote speakers’ presentations. We count on the session chairs to keep the total time allocated to their session.
